​Village Wholefoods is owned and operated by Suzanne and Paul. A family owned and independent bulk food store.  

We've always been big believers in cooking our meals from scratch. We also grew frustrated with the excessive non-reusable packaging that fills the supermarket shelves. This led us to open our whole foods store in the Inner West suburb of Marrickville,  Sydney. It's important to us to provide high quality bulk food at affordable prices for our customers.

We love this kind of simple, sustainable shopping and we are passionate about the kinds of food and products we sell.

We believe the less packaging the better. We want to show our son that there are ways you can make a difference now and not leave it for our his generation to clean up.

We love it when our customers bring their own containers and reuse and refill. Together all these little steps to less plastic waste and less food waste will help the environment and the world around us.

Our customers can purchase any ingredient they want, in any amount they need, and in the packaging of their choice.
 
We also want customers to be able to be adventurous in their choice of ingredients without fear of blowing the budget, wasting food, or adding unnecessary packaging to landfill.
